Start with your child’s height

Six models. Find your starting point.

Among the five height-specified models below, XENON 1 KID and TORON 1 KID start at 61 cm; the non-KID XENON 1 and TORON 1 start at 40 cm. AXION 1 is the 100–150 cm high-back booster option.

Height ranges are a comparison starting point, not confirmation of suitability. VELIX 1 specifications and permitted modes require separate confirmation; do not apply another model’s limits to it. For harness models, forward-facing use starts at 76 cm and at least 15 months of age; all manual requirements must also be met. Follow the exact seat and vehicle instructions for every travel mode.

RECARO child-seat questions

What is the difference between KID and non-KID models?

XENON 1 KID and TORON 1 KID start at 61 cm. XENON 1 and TORON 1 start at 40 cm. The upper range is 125 cm for the XENON models and 105 cm for the TORON models. Check the exact model instructions, not just the family name.

Which RECARO seat covers 100–150 cm?

AXION 1 covers 100–150 cm in forward-facing vehicle-belt use. It is a different type of seat from the rotating harness models.

Does every model fit every car?

No universal fit is claimed. Check the seat instructions and vehicle handbook for your exact vehicle and seating position before purchase.

Can I use the ISOFIX connectors without the vehicle belt on AXION 1?

The manufacturer specifies vehicle-belt restraint for AXION 1. ISOFIX does not replace the belt around the child. Follow the exact installation instructions.
